Jay to Re-release Decoded & Will Campaign for Obama Again -x- Tupac Shakur Sex Tape and Bidding War! -x- MTV Music News

According to his official blog, LifeAndTimes.com, Jay-Z has decided to re-release his popular book, Decoded. With a new chapter, three additional songs that will be broken down and extra illustrations, the book will hit stores on November 1st. Here’s what Hova wrote about the project:

“What still excites me about rap is that it’s an open thread, a cipher that listeners find their own meanings in. The point of this book is not to settle arguments or transform rap songs into neat stories with a beginning, middle, and end. Rather, I’m trying to point readers to some ideas and information, get them to see deeper into the music than they saw before and learn more about worlds different from their own (or find new ways of looking at the worlds they already know)—to find their own meanings and connect them back to their own lives. I want readers to see the craft and learn the context—and I want them to still be able to feel the magic, and enjoy the show.”

Barack Obama may be down in the polls of public opinion due to the current economic climate, but he still has a fan in Jay-Z. The rapper told WENN.com that he will campaign for Obama again, saying, “I still think he’s the best man for the job, so yes. I think he got a raw deal and he got a really tough economy. It’s going to test his mettle, which is great.” Still, Hov is hoping for even more equality in the White House, explaining, “Now we have to get a female president and a Latino president and we are on our way.” What do you think as Bey for Commander in Chief?!

OMG! According to MTV.com, Beyonce has issued a lengthy teaser for her highly anticipated video for her new single, “Countdown.” The visual for the Boyz II Men-sampled track will reportedly premiere tomorrow. Visit MTV.com to watch the 30 second sneak peek now!

Now that T.I.’s legal troubles are behind him, he can focus on making music and expanding his brand. According to AllHipHop.com, Tip has announced that he’s created a sister line to his male clothing line, AKOO. The upcoming line is designed specifically for women and will be called AQOO, which stands for “a queen of oneself.” We’ll keep you posted on when the line will be available in stores.

An explicit five-minute sex tape which features the late Tupac Shakur might soon be hitting the market. According to TMZ.com, an unknown individual is currently taking offers for the tape, which was shot in 1991. AllHipHop.com reports a scene shows a number of groupies in the living room of a house. Digital Underground group member Money B is said to be also featured in one of the explicit scenes.

· TALKING POINT: Why might this person now want to sell this tape after so many years? And would you watch?

*** THIS JUST IN ***

Two porn companies are going head-to-head in a ferocious battle to buy the rights to the Tupac Shakur sex tape … and TMZ has learned the first bid is well into 6-figures.

Sources close to the person in possession of the tape tell us … neither company has actually laid eyes on the footage … but both sites are serious about acquiring the rights.

TMZ has confirmed … one of the potential buyers is a site called YouPorn.com — and YouPorn.com honcho Corey Price tells us the site has made an official offer to pay $150k for the tape.

According to sources, the person in possession of the tape believes the offer is “way too low” — and is willing to hold out for more money.

We’re told the seller has been in contact with a second, unidentified porn site, which has vowed to to beat the current offer — but only if it can screen the footage first.

As TMZ first reported, the footage was shot in 1991… and it features the late rapper receiving oral sex from a woman while rapping, drinking and smoking a blunt at a house party.
