JENNIFER LOPEZ TALKS CAREER BEGINNINGS

Jennifer Lopez has appeared in 30 films and earned two GRAMMY nominations, but the professional triple threat first got her start as a dancer. Lopez told us how her two-year run as a “Fly Girl” on the 1990s comedy show In Living Color changed her life and career.

“I would have to say the major turning point in my young life was when I left New York and I got the job on In Living Color as a ‘Fly Girl.’ That was like when my whole life changed from being a girl going to school in the Bronx and living in New York to being independent. Lopez’s seventh studio album, Love?, came out earlier this year and boasts the hit single “On the Floor” featuring Pitbull.
