T.I. CONFIRMS SECOND SEASON OF REALITY SHOW
During a recent interview, T.I. reportedly confirmed that Vh1 renewed his hit reality show, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, for a second season. He previously said that the show is so important to him because it helps people get a better understanding of who he really is. While it’s unknown when the second season will premiere, you can check out new episodes of T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle on Mondays nights at 9 PM on Vh1.

RIHANNA SELLS MANSION FOR $5 MILLION
According to the Los Angeles Times, Rihanna recently sold her mansion in Beverly Hills. The “We Found Love” singer, who forked over 6.9-million dollars to buy the home, sold her estate for 5.03-million. The 8,520-square-foot house includes eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a media room, den, three fireplaces and a pool and sits on over three-quarters of an acre.
MAN STABBED FOR NOT KNOWING BEYONCE AND JAY-Z ARE MARRIED
A 48-year-old man in Ohio was reportedly stabbed by another man for not knowing that Beyonce is married to Jay-Z. The suspect, Ronald Deaver, is said to have pulled out a knife following an argument outside his apartment on December 31st. While the victim is currently in good condition, Deaver was arrested and charged with felonious assault. Wow.
ESTELLE ANNOUNCES ALL OF ME TOUR
According to her official website, Estelle has announced the dates for her upcoming All Of Me tour. The British singer will begin her 14-city outing on February 2nd in Cleveland and will wrap on February 24th in Boston. Her third album, All Of Me, arrives on February 28th.

COMMON JOINS LINEUP FOR BET HONORS
According to AllHipHop.com, Common is scheduled to participate in this year’s BET Honors. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the Chicago native is expected to perform and alongside previously announced acts Patti Labelle and Aretha Franklin. The ceremony will pay tribute to Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, film director Spike Lee, legendary poet Maya Angelou and more. Be sure to tune in when the fifth annual show airs February 13th at 9 PM on BET.

WIZ KHALIFA ACCUSED OF STEALING “BLACK & YELLOW”
According to HipHopDX.com, Wiz Khalifa is being accused of stealing his smash single, “Black & Yellow,” from another Pennsylvania artist. The rap rookie is now facing a lawsuit for allegedly stealing the concept from Max Gregory Warren’s 2007 track “Pink N Yellow.” Since the record reached triple-platinum status, Warren is seeking over 2.3-million dollars in damages for copyright infringement, civil conspiracy and unjust enrichment. We’ll keep you posted as to how this plays out.
But sources close to Wiz Khalifa claim that he did not steal the concept for “Black and Yellow” from songwriter Max Gregory Warren. According to TMZ, a source said, “Wiz has never heard of this guy … it’s just a plot that happens all the the time to rappers to get money.
This is just some no-name rapper who wants to get paid.”

UPDATE ON NICK CANNON’S HOSPITALIZATION
We recently reported that Nick Cannon was hospitalized for having kidney failure and now, Mariah Carey has updated People.com on her husband’s current condition. The diva explained, “As always, he’s in good spirits considering the situation. We are hopeful that he’ll be 100 percent as soon as possible. We really appreciate everybody’s love and support.” Cannon, who is “in a lot of pain,” shared on Twitter that he was being moved from an Aspen, Colorado hospital to one in Los Angeles. MONICA GIVES UPDATE ON NEW LIFE
During an interview with the Miami Herald, Monica spilled new details about her upcoming album, New Life. The singer said of the disc, “I’m reinventing myself in some aspects, but keeping old factors that are more engaging to the audience who have been kind enough to support me all these years.” She also said that she titled the project New Life because she’s “grown and learned.” Led by the Missy Elliot-produced first single “Anything (To Find You),” her seventh studio LP is slated to drop on February 21st. According to the Associated Press, Questlove recently shared his top five albums of 2011. The Roots’ bandleader felt the best projects came from The Weeknd, Adele, Wyatt Cenac, The Lonely Island and Jay-Z & Kanye West. The drummer said of the latter, “Watch the Throne is one of those records, I told people ‘You’ll be back in a month and a half. People were like, ‘Whatever.’ All of a sudden, now, it’s like ‘Oh, this is my album!’”

The 2011 music report is out and Rihanna is the top selling Digital Artist of all time selling over 47-million singles, according to Nielsen SoundScan. She tops the likes of the Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Kanye West and Britney Spears.
We all know DMX tends to frequent prisons cells, but this year he wasn’t the only rapper that had issues avoiding jail time. Here’s a quick look back at how DMX, T.I. and Ja Rule spent that majority of their time… doing time:
DMX
· In late May, DMX it was reported that the rapper would be released from an Arizona corrections facility on July 1st. The rapper, who was serving time for violating the terms of his probation, will be under supervision until the August 12th. Right before he was scheduled to be released, X was caught with drugs in his system and faced 30 more days of incarceration. The troubled artist also violated numerous rules, including failing or refusing a drug test, unauthorized smoking and disorderly conduct. Since being released, DMX has cleaned up his act, performed at the 2011 BET Awards and he is working on his seventh studio album, Redemption of the Beast.
· After T.I. served his weapons possession sentence and was able to leave a halfway house, we all assumed he’d serve out the remainder of his sentence under house arrest and steer clear of trouble. Unfortunately, he and his wife, Tameka Cottle, were arrested in early September on drug charges. The pair was pulled over in West Hollywood by police, who then smelled marijuana coming from the car. The two were arrested for possession of a controlled substance, booked and released on ten-thousand dollars bail. T.I. was sentenced to serve an 11-month sentence inside Arkansas Federal Correctional Institution for violating the terms of his probation. After he completed his time, the rapper opened the 2011 Hip Hop Awards alongside Young Jeezy, began to work on his upcoming album, Trouble Man, and he launched a new VH1 reality series, T.I. & Tiny – Family Hustle. In addition, Tip is currently working on his forthcoming novel, titled Power & Beauty.
JA RULE
· Ja Rule is currently serving a two year sentence for a weapons possession charge. In addition to that, according to The Associated Press, the rapper was also sentenced to two years of jail time for tax evasion. Apparently, Ja failed to pay over three million dollars on back taxes to the IRS from 2004 to 2006. His new sentence will “run concurrently” and could result in an additional 4 to 12 months. If that’s not bad enough, he must also pay 1.1-million in back taxes. Fortunately, he is expected to embark on a tour that’s being dubbed My 40 Days/40 Nights Around the World, which will occur immediately following the completion of his jail stint. In addition, he is also working on his upcoming album, The Renaissance Project, the sequel to his classic album, Pain Is Love.
In Drake’s song “Free Spirit” with Rick Ross, he says on the hook: “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real.” According to MTV.com, a fan has done just that and showed her devotion to Drizzy by getting a tattoo of the rapper’s name on her forehead. Kevin Campbell, the tattoo artist responsible for the ink, told Vibe magazine that the young lady wasn’t drunk and “really psyched and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead.” He adds, “She acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I’m not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.”

According to his official website, Drake has released the dates for his upcoming Club Paradise tour, which will travel to cities in the U-S and Europe. The highly anticipated trek will begin next year on February 14th in Miami and wraps on March 11th in San Diego only to begin in Dublin, Ireland on March 24th. NEW ACTS ADDED TO VH1 DIVAS
We’ve just learned Anita Baker, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson and Ledisi have just been added to the list of performers for this year’s VH1 Divas. In addition, Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, Terrence Howard, Nas, Common and La La Anthony are all expected to present at the ceremony, which is paying tribute to great cities of soul including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. Taking place inside New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, be sure to tune in when VH1 Divas airs Monday, December 19th at 9 PM/8c on VH1.

MYSTIKAL REACTS TO SINGING TO YOUNG MONEY
In a press release, Mystikal issued a statement about his recently deal with Cash Money Records. Similar to Busta Rhymes, the rapper is excited about the new partnership. He stated, “It has been a truly long time since I have felt like a rapper and with this signing, and partnership, Birdman and Slim have given me my life as a rapper back. I am ready to go. FANTASIA WELCOMES BABY BOY!
According Vibe, Fantasia has reportedly delivery a healthy baby boy at a North Carolina hospital on Tuesday morning. The bundle of joy marks her first child together with her and partner Antwaun Cook, who was allegedly married when they first started dating. The singer has told People.com, “I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” she said. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.” The bundle of joy weighed at 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long. MICHAEL JACKSON AUCTION
According to JuliensAuctions.com, personal items from the L-A home where Michael Jackson died in are being auctioned off. The items up for auction include messages from his children, a carved dining table and a Victorian grand piano and more. Other items include an ornate bedroom mirror, on which the late singer wrote: “Train perfection March, April full out May,” in the build up to his planned London comeback gigs, and a shower bench on which Jackson drew a series of stick figures. Contrary to rumors, the bed in which the singer died in will not be included in the sale.
According to SingersRoom.com, Janelle Monae has big plans for the New Year. Fans can expect the singer to release two new albums which she revealed has “84.799 percent of the writing is done.” As for when the “Tightrope” entertainer will drop the projects, Monae stated, “I will release them according to my soul clock; so I reserve the right to change that. FLO RIDA IS BACK ON TRACK AFTER DUI
TMZ is reporting that Flo Rida got off lightly from prosecutors for his DUI case. The rapper was busted in Miami Beach back in June on suspicion of DUI, according to Police his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. Flo Rida’s attorney got the judge to send Flo to a first-time offenders program instead of jail. The program, called Back on Track, requires for Flo Rida to complete substance abuse classes, counseling, community service and drug testing. If Flo completes all of the requirements, prosecutors will know the DUI charge down to the lesser charge of reckless driving.

WALE TEAMS UP WITH THE WIZARDS FOR NBA EVENT
Wale will perform a free show in Washington D.C. on Saturday. The Maryland native is helping the Washington Wizards kick off their 2012 season with Fan Fest, on Saturday night. RapRadar.com reports Jay-Z has announced that he will be performing two shows inside New York City’s Carnegie Hall on February 6th and 7th. In addition to working on his upcoming album, 50 Cent has announced plans to write his first fitness book called Formula 50: A 6-Week Total Body Transformation Plan. According to a press release, Curtis said in a statement, “I had a strong desire to write this book because is very important to me to help people make positive changes and take charge of their overall health. FORMULA 50 is a radical six week mind-body transformation plan geared to help readers develop mental toughness to achieve optimum results while offering a nutrition component.” Its gonna be a while until you can get Formula 50 as it’s scheduled for release in January 2013 via Avery Books.

ROBIN THICKE’S PROJECTED ALBUM SALES
HitsDailyDouble.com has released the projected album sales for Robin Thicke’s latest album, Love After War. The disc, which only includes one guest feature from Lil Wayne, is on pace to sell somewhere between 30 to 35-thousand copies during its first week on the chart. Elsewhere, The Roots latest album, Undun, is estimated to also sell between 30 to 35-thousand units while T-Pain’s rEVOLVEr will more than likely only pull in 25 to 28-thousand. Slow sales week indeed.
E-40 TO DROP THREE ALBUMS ON SAME DAY
According to XXLMag.com, E-40 has decided to treat his fans by releasing three albums simultaneously on the same day next year. That’s right, the projects, The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 1, The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 2 and The Block Brochure: Welcome to the Soil 3, are scheduled to hit stores and iTunes in March 2012. Wondering how he’s able to pull this off? The rapper explained, “I have my own label, ain’t no liaison, no middle man. I have my own distribution. I’m not signed as no artist. I got a P&D deal which is a lovely situation.” There you have it.
WILL.I.AM JOINS U-K VERSION OF THE VOICE
Will.i.am will join the U-K version of The Voice. The Black Eyed Peas frontman will be a vocal coach on the U-K version of the show along with Jessie J, The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones. The show will kick off in January.
According to Billboard.com, T.I. credits Eminem with helping him overcome his drug addiction. The rapper failed to admit his drug of choice but did reveal that his addiction began after he received medication for oral surgery. Tip stated, “I haven’t had a chance to speak to Em since I’ve been home,” He said. “I heard that while I was down, he was trying to get in contact with me, but I don’t know if the dots just didn’t connect. [Eminem] overcoming his own adversities, winning the battle against his own demons and continuing to break the mold and re-set the standard of what it means to be the most successful hip-hop artist in the game … I salute that to no end.”

We’re all waiting patiently for T.I. to premiere his upcoming VH1 reality series, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle. In the lengthy teaser for the show, Tip returns home from his prison stint, balances being a dad to six kids and treats his wife to a romantic dinner. T.I. stated, “I got a million and one reasons to be out doing what I do professionally, but the most important thing to me in the world is family. I can’t make one single mistake. Family is priority number one.” Be sure to catch the series premiere on December 5th at 9 PM ET on VH1.

LIL WAYNE, EMINEM PREP JOINT TOUR
According to his official Facebook page, Lil Wayne has announced that he plans to tour with Eminem after he wraps his I Am Still Music outing. Wayne has not revealed any dates for the highly anticipated trek with Slim Shady, but the duo is scheduled to touch down in Fiji, Australia and South Africa. We will keep you posted as more information becomes available.

DIDDY’S SON ACCEPTED INTO UCLA
According to RapRadar.com, Diddy is proud to announce that his eldest son, Justin Combs, has reportedly accepted a full scholarship to play football for UCLA. The mogul expressed his joy in the following statement, “As a parent, today is one of the proudest moments of my life. This is everything a father could want for his son, for him to excel at what he loves to do and is truly passionate about. Justin is a shining example of what hard work, determination and a strong mentality can achieve. I am honored to call him my son and am happy that he is fulfilling his dream.”
USHER AND EX WIFE FIGHT OVER CUSTODY
Things between Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, are not looking good. The mother of his two kids claims the crooner has failed to follow his legal obligations, when it comes to sharing joint custody of their sons. TMZ reports Tameka has filed documents requesting that a judge no longer allow Usher to have joint physical custody. In addition, she is seeking more money for child suppor,t since there’s allegedly been a “substantial change in [Usher's] income” since they got divorced. We’ll keep you posted.
MARY J BLIGE TALKS BEYONCE DUET
During an interview with Billboard.com, Mary J. Blige spoke about her first time collaborating with Beyonce for her latest album, My Life II … The Journey Continues (Act I). On a record called “Love A Woman,” MJB explained how the duet came together. Since the track was originally recorded for Beyonce’s recent album, Mary explained, “She had her A&R people play the record for us. I’m sitting in the back thinking, ‘Is she really going to give me this record? That’s crazy! It’s amazing,’” Blige recalled. “I asked her A&R person and he said, ‘Yes, she wants you to have the record, but she wants to stay on it with you.’ I loved that idea and I’m thankful.
