In ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT, Scrat’s nutty pursuit of the cursed acorn, which he’s been after since the dawn of time, has world-changing consequences – a continental cataclysm that triggers the greatest adventure of all for Manny, Diego and Sid. In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.

Kelly Rowland was supporting Chris Brown on his F.A.M.E. Tour and things might have gotten a little spicy between the two artists. A source tells InTouch Magazine that, although Kelly was a little worried about the age gap, she could not resist Chris’ charm after the lap dance he gave her on tour. Chris’ rep says the two are only friends.
BEYONCÉ READIES NEW “PARTY” VIDEO
Beyoncé teamed up with J. Cole for her new video for “Party.” According to Rap-Up.com, the video should arrive sometime this week. The colorful clip for the Kanye West-produced song is a backyard bash that features a cameo from Bey’s sister, Solage, who rocks the turntables for the soiree.

DRAKE COLLABORATES WITH THE WEEKND ON FOUR TRACKS
Drake has teamed up with Toronto outfit The Weeknd for his upcoming album, Take Care. In an interview with MTV News, Drizzy says Weeknd’s Abel Tesfaye worked on four songs off the new record. The rapper goes on to say, “He’s like a writer, collaborator on four songs on my album, which I am very proud of…I usually don’t branch out writing-wise working with other people. I usually write all my own stuff, but we get it. We try to tap into the same emotions because we’re from the same city.” Take Care is set to come out on November 15th.
ODD FUTURE WANTS TO COLLABORATE WITH LIL WAYNE
Lil Wayne says he’s a fan of Odd Future. The rap superstar told MTV News, “I just rock with ‘em…I’m just real cool with the homies. Shouts out, Tyler.” Tyler, the Creator says the respect is mutual and that he’d like to work with Weezy. The Odd Future leader says he has a beat he’d like to get Wayne on, but says he’s too scared to ask him to collaborate.
MONICA RELEASES EMOTIONAL VIDEO
Monica has released an emotional video for “Until It’s Gone,” the first single off her upcoming album, New Life. The video stars Malinda Williams, who confronts her husband, played by Brian White, about his cheating. RIHANNA DROPS A GRAND IN PARISIAN SEX SHOP
According to TheSun.com, Rihanna dropped over one-thousand dollars at a sex shop in Paris. The singer left the store with toys, handcuffs, scented candles and lingerie. Rihanna apparently spent over the equivalent of 15-hundred dollars in just five minutes and left the story with a smile on her face.
JIM JONES ATTACKED WITH METAL PIPE BY THREE ARMED MEN!
Rapper Jim Jones was walking the streets of Harlem alone when he was approached by three anonymous men. The men brutally attacked him, with one of them using a metal pipe. Jim continued to defend himself throughout the attack, until one of the attackers pulled out a gun. Jones fled the scene and ended up back at his studio without serious injury. He is happy he made it out alive and he does not plan on walking the streets of Harlem alone ever again.
T-PAIN DROPS VISUAL TO LATEST LEAK
T-Pain has dropped the visual for “Nothin,” the latest leak off of his upcoming album. The video is filled with fancy cars and a whole lot of dancing. T-Pain releases his new album, Revolver, on December 6th.
SOULJA BOY DYES HAIR BLONDE!
Soulja Boy seems confidently pleased with his new hair color. The rapper posed for a picture with a fan shortly after having his hair dyed. He even changed his Twitter background to a picture of his blonde hair to show the world his new do. Chris Brown went blonde for some time and so did Wiz Khalifa so it seems like blonde is the way to go this year.
MICHAEL JACKSON MAKES THE MOST OF ALL DECEASED CELEBRITIES
Billboard reports that Michael Jackson is the top-earning deceased celebrity. The King of Pop tops Forbes’ annual list of high-earning artists who have passed away. Jackson reportedly earned 170-million dollars in the past year. Elvis came in second with 55 million. Late Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison also made the list.
CHRIS BROWN, BEYONCÉ AND KANYE WEST LEAD SOUL TRAIN NOMINEES
Chris Brown, Beyoncé and Kanye West lead the pack with five Soul Train Award nominations each. Kelly Rowland and Adele are up for three. Brown is up for Best Male R&B/Soul Artist against Trey Songz, Cee Lo Green, R. Kelly, Eric Benet and Miguel, as well as for Album of the Year and Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “Look at Me Now.” Kanye West and Jay-Z are also up for Best Hip-Hop Song of the Year for “Otis,” while Kanye is in the running for Song of the Year for “All of the Lights” as well. Plus, Kanye is up for Album of the Year for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and for his collaboration with Jay-Z on Watch The Throne. The show tapes November 17th in Atlanta and airs on BET on November 27th. EMINEM’S SOUTHPAW GETS UP OFF THE MAT
Eminem has been circling the gritty boxing drama Southpaw for more than a year now. After Dreamworks shelved the project back in August, it seemed that the film may have been down for the count. But according to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony has picked up the flick, which would be Marshall Mathers’s first major movie role since his acclaimed debut in the semi-autobiographical 2002 drama 8 Mile. The movie is expected to start production early next year and will be directed by Antoine Fuqua, who famously directed Denzel Washington’s Oscar-winning performance in Training Day.
SNOOP DOGG AND WIZ KHALIFIA SHOOT VIDEO FOR FIRST SINGLE OFF STONER COMEDY SOUNDTRACK
Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa shot their video for “Young, Wild & Free” on Wednesday night. The track is the first single off the duo’s upcoming stoner comedy, Mac & Devin Go to High School. The rappers took over a drive-in movie theater outside of L-A to film the clip. Wiz spoke to MTV News at the shoot saying, “This is a family affair man. Everybody that you see was all involved with the project. We all got love for each other, and you know, we just keeping it moving, right?” Mac & Devin Go to High School comes out in February.
T.I. AND B.o.B TEAMING UP FOR JOINT ALBUM?
Are T.I. and B.o.B. teaming up for a joint album? MTV News spoke with Tip recently, who said he’s been working with Bobby Ray, “We been goin’ in. We’re actually flirting with the idea of doin’ an album together called The Man and the Martian.” T.I. says the music they’ve been cranking out so far is “coming out real good.” We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
LUDACRIS AND GUCCI MANE GET “SNAKE N FRIES”
Ludacris hooks up with Gucci Mane on his new song “Shake N Fries.” The tune will be featured on Luda’s upcoming mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time, set to arrive on November 15th.
BRUNO MARS TO PREMIERE NEW VIDEO ON WEDNESDAY
Bruno Mars will debut his video for “It Will Rain” on MTV next week. The song, which is featured on the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn Part 1, will premiere on Wednesday at 7:54 PM Eastern. The video features a never-before-seen clip from the film, which hits theaters November 18th. Immediately following the video’s premiere, MTV.com will air a live stream featuring MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway’s exclusive interview with Mars, plus Twilight music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas, who will discuss everything about Breaking Dawn.
· The Breaking Dawn soundtrack will arrive on November 8th. It also features music from the likes of Theophilus London, the Joy Formidable, Iron & Wine and Christina Perri.
We’ve just learned Beyonce met with Sony Music executives to preview new material for her upcoming album. Sony exec Denis Handlin told the Daily Telegraph, “It was just amazing. She came in and played us six tracks from the album. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record… These songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she’s gone to another level.” Bey’s fourth studio album is slated for a June release.

LUDACRIS RECORDS FOR FAST FIVE
According to Rap-Up.com, Ludacris has teamed with Slaughterhouse for the official soundtrack for the fifth installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise. Luda and the 2.0 Boys recorded a song called “Furiously Dangerous,” which will serve as the lead single for the film, Fast Five. The news comes as Luda announced that he’s already begun recording his next studio effort, Ludaversal.
· Ludacris will star in Fast Five, which opens on April 29th.
· Luda said of the film, “That movie is amazing. I guarantee you, if not number one, it will be top three movies of this year.”
LIL WAYNE FACES ANOTHER TAX BILL
Lil Wayne is facing another tax lien from the IRS. If you remember, a few weeks ago we reported Weezy paid off a 1.13-million dollar debt but he now owes over 5.6-million in unpaid taxes! We’ll keep you posted with further details.
· Lil Wayne has just been added to a list of confirmed performers at the 2011 Bamboozle Music Festival. The annual event will be held in East Rutherford, New Jersey at the New Meadowlands Sports Complex from April 29th to May 1st.
JENNIFER LOPEZ SCORES U-K HIT SINGLE
We’ve just learned Jennifer Lopez’s new single, “On The Floor” featuring Pitbull, has debuted at number one on the official U-K singles chart. This marks the first time J. Lo has experienced such chart success since 2005’s “Get Right.”

JEEZY RECRUITS TRAVIS BARKER ON TM103
We were beginning to wonder what’s going on with Young Jeezy’s long-delayed album, Thug Motivation 103. The rapper is still working hard on completing the disc, which will now include drum work from Blink-182’s Travis Barker. The drummer told Rap-Up.com, “It was amazing. It was like this epic, Braveheart-sounding intro.” Fans can expect TM103 to drop later this year.

RIHANNA ASKED TO JUDGE X FACTOR?
