BUSTA RHYMES CAN SEE AN ACTING CAREER FOR NICKI
Before Nicki Minaj revealed that she wanted to one day act alongside Will Smith, Busta Rhymes told SOHH.com that he can easily see her making the transition to film. The rapper said of the Young Money starlet, “She’s a new artist. She’s doing more than what new artists do as far as being everywhere and having the success and acknowledgment that she’s had…the next thing that I would like to see her do is films.” Only time will tell when the fem-cee makes her Hollywood debut.
WATCH THE THRONE RELEASE DATE?
According to TheSource.com, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s forthcoming joint album, Watch The Throne, will arrive next month. The 10-track disc, which includes contributions from Hov’s wife, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars, will apparently be released on July 4th.

GINUWINE GEARS UP FOR REALITY TV?
SingersRoom.com reports Ginuwine has decided to let cameras invade his private life for a new reality show called Ginuwine: A New Beginning! The upcoming series will follow the R&B crooner as he juggles his career, being a dad to four daughters and a husband to former rapper, Sole. B.O.B IS “EXCITED” ABOUT SOPHOMORE ALBUM
B.o.B has announced that he’s begun the follow-up to his debut album, B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. He told MLive.com that he’s “really excited” because he feels like he’s in “[his] groove with this one.” He added, “I’m more aware of myself as an instrument, as a sound. It’s more intentful.” The Grand Hustle artist says there’s “a lot of the thought process [of working on an album] goes into actually performing it.” No release date has been revealed just yet.
MARY J BLIGE HAS BIGGEST R&B SONG…PERIOD
For anyone who doubts if Mary J. Blige still has it, we’d like to fill you in on something that you probably didn’t know about her. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul’s smash hit, “Be Without You,” is the most successful song in the history of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. She told Rap-Up.com that “If I Ain’t Got You” actually “came together right after Aaliyah passed away. It was such a sad time and no one wanted to believe it. It just made everything crystal clear to me—what matters, and what doesn’t.” In addition, she recalled working with Kanye West for “You Don’t Know My Name.” Alicia described Yeezy as “this new and extremely eager guy who had so much to prove” and added that he was “just as much a ball of fire then as he is now.” Be sure to pick up the10th anniversary edition of songs in A minor on June 28th.

Thanks to her catchy single, “Gucci Gucci,” Kreayshawn has landed a record deal with Columbia Records. If you haven’t heard of her, the 21-year-old rapper hails from East Oakland, California and she’s affiliated with Lil B and Odd Future. The fem-cee, who was rumored to have received an advance of a million dollars, said in a statement, “I’m excited to work with my new Columbia family. They understand my vision and are going to let me continue everything I’ve been doing. My hope is to inspire others to be young, wild and free.”
