BEYONCE IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR X-FACTOR PANNEL AND $100 MILLION SALARY

Ever since news broke that Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul were fired from The X Factor USA panel, rumors have run rampant about who will replace the two judges. So far, we’ve heard Kelly Rowland, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are in the running, but a source told Englans’s The Mirror that Beyonce is being considered as well. An X Factor insider claims, “Simon wants nothing but the best for the X Factor.” The X Factor USA will returns this fall on FOX.

It would the highest TV salary ever, and, indeed, an ideal job for Beyonce, 30, who gave birth daughter Blue Ivy, her first child with husband Jay-Z, last month; the X-Factor stint could theoretically allow the Grammy winning singer a way to stay in the public eye during her baby’s first years without having to tour worldwide.

DRAKE’S EX WANTS MONEY FROM MARVIN’S ROOM

Young Money superstar Drake’s alleged ex-girlfriend Ericka Lee has come forward with a lawsuit against the Grammy-nominated performer for not getting compensated after contributing to his “Marvin’s Room” summer anthem.

The lawsuit is officially filed and cites Drake for not paying what is due in royalties.

Ericka Lee, revealing herself to be Drake’s ex-girlfriend, has stepped up, saying she was the voice on the other end of the phone call. The woman is now suing Drake for excluding her from sharing co-writer royalties on one of his biggest recent hits. Lee filed the lawsuit on Thursday in California federal court claiming the two had a romantic and business partnership between early-2010 and mid-2011. During the relationship, the two are said to have traded poems and song lyrics and discussed joint creative projects. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Following a messy break-up, Lee later contacted an attorney to put the suit into motion.

By November, Lee hired a lawyer, which allegedly caused Drake to make threatening phone calls. “What the f–k is your problem?” he said to her, according to the complaint, then offering her “4-5%” of publishing monies plus a $50,000 payout to go away. Instead, Lee has filed a lawsuit over “Marvin’s Room,” which has been viewed more than 39 million times on YouTube. She demands a judge declare her as co-writer of the song. She’s also seeking damages and disgorgement of profits on allegations of breach of fiduciary duties and unjust enrichment. Lee is represented by Neville Johnson, who previously filed a lawsuit against Drake on behalf of a Playboy Enterprises for sampling an unauthorized sound recording it owned on “Best I Ever Had.” (The Hollywood Reporter)

Get excited, Drake fans. According to his website, his sophomore album, Take Care, is due out in October and we should be hearing the first single in July. And if that isn’t enough for y’all, he has also come through with a brand-new track called “Marvins Room.” It’s far less rap-heavy than “Dreams Money Can Buy” and instead features Drizzy throwing on his R&B sad-man/storyteller hat throughout the nearly six-minute-long track. The result is a pretty epic cut that includes a track-ending piano solo and producer Noah “40″ Shebib’s trademark watery 808s. Outside of romance and legal woes, Drizzy recently made headlines for shattering records.

The Toronto rapper has broken the record for most number one songs on the Billboard Rap Songs chart on the heels of his 11th hit “Make Me Proud” featuring Nicki Minaj. This bests a previous tie the Canadian rapper held with Diddy. Billboard reports, “When it comes to topping the tally the most, Drake, in less than three years, has become the best the chart ever had”. (RapFix)

B.o.B has issued the visual for the remix video for “Strange Clouds.” According to his official website, the revamped track includes guest verses from T.I. and Young Jeezy and is expected to appear on his sophomore album of the same name.  Strange Clouds lands on March 13th.\

ALICIA KEYS VACATIONS IN HAWAII WITH FAMILY

Wanna know what Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have been up to? The two love birds were spotted vacationing with their son, Egypt, on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. The family was there to celebrate the singer’s recent 31st birthday. R KELLY DROPS “SHARE MY LOVE”

R Kelly is readying his comeback. After overcoming throat surgery late last year, the self-proclaimed R&B king has issued a new song called “Share My Love.” The up-tempo track serves as the first single from his new album, Write Me Back. The follow-up to Love Letter will arrive in stores in March.

In addition, Kellz is also working on a sequel to his 1993 debut, 12 Play, entitled Black Panties.

ELEPHANT MAN ARRESTED FOR RAPE

According to TMZ, Elephant Man was arrested in Jamaica for allegedly raping a woman sometime last month inside his St. Andrew home. The reggae king, known for his 2004 hit “Jook Girl,” was recently questioned about his involvement while his lawyers were present. He was officially booked following the interrogation and charged with grievous sexual assault and rape. We’ll keep you posted.

YOUNG JEEZY, DRAKE REMAIN IN TOP 5 ON BILLBOARD CHART

Drake continues to enjoy his reign on the Billboard 200 chart as his sophomore album, Take Care, has remained at the number two spot for the second consecutive week. The disc reportedly moved an additional 42-thousand copies, bringing its total sales to over 1.2-million copies. Elsewhere, Young Jeezy’s latest album, TM103: Hustlerz Ambition, has slipped to number four and raked in over 334-thousand units since being released in December.

LUPE FIASCO’S LASERS GOES GOLD

Lupe Fiasco announced on his website that his latest album, Lasers, has officially reached gold status. The rapper’s effort has amassed sales over 500-thousand copies. As previously reported, Lasers was one of the few rap albums to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in 2011.

SWIZZ BEATZ WORKING ON NEW MIXTAPE

Aside from raising his son with Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz is still working on his highly anticipated third album, Haute Living. Since the LP currently has no release date, the hitmaker wrote on Twitter that fans will get new music in the form of a mixtape. According to SingersRoom.com, Alicia Keys has received a nomination for the upcoming Directors Guild of America Awards. Keys is up for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Movies for Television and Mini-Series category. The ceremony takes place on January 28th in Los Angeles.

BEYONCE’S BABY CALLED “SATAN” BY CHURCH VANDAL

People seem to have mixed opinions about Jay-Z and Beyonce’s new baby, Blue Ivy Carter. According to TMZ, an unidentified vandal recently defaced a sign for the North Carolina Baptist church and made it read: “Beyonce had her baby. Satan is on Earth.” The pastor, who claims the church was unaware of the incident, told TMZ that he received numerous complaints and removed the sign immediately.

JENNIFER HUDSON DENIES RUMORS OF PRECIOUS ROLE

We previously reported that Jennifer Hudson turned down the lead role in Precious due to the excessive weight gain she would have to put on. However, according to TMZ, the singer claimed that putting on extra pounds was not the reason she declined the offer. She explained, “I turned it down because I felt it was just too graphic for me at that time.” Interestingly enough, Hudson told Dateline that she passed because she “would have had to be the big girl again.” If you remember, Hudson agreed to put on weight to for her character in Dreamgirls and in the upcoming film, Winnie.

Justin Bieber entered the studio this week to begin working on his new album, Believe. His manager, Scooter Braun, took to Twitter to write that the album “is going to be ridiculous!” The 17-year-old singer recently told V magazine that he wants the album to recall Justin Timberlake’s FutureSex/LoveSounds record sonically, but he noted that his lyrics would be a little more PG than the topics Timberlake covered on the effort. Bieber did take a break from recording this week to hit up the Consumer Electronics Show, which is currently under way in Las Vegas.

WOMAN GETS DRAKE’S NAME TATTOOED TO HER HEAD

In Drake’s song “Free Spirit” with Rick Ross, he says on the hook: “Tat my name on you so I know it’s real.” According to MTV.com, a fan has done just that and showed her devotion to Drizzy by getting a tattoo of the rapper’s name on her forehead. Kevin Campbell, the tattoo artist responsible for the ink, told Vibe magazine that the young lady wasn’t drunk and “really psyched and was pretty adamant about putting it on her forehead.” He adds, “She acted as if she had planned it out for a while; though I’m not really sure how much extended coherent thought could actually go into getting such a stupid tattoo on your forehead.”

NEW ACTS ADDED TO VH1 DIVAS

We’ve just learned Anita Baker, Mavis Staples, Wanda Jackson and Ledisi have just been added to the list of performers for this year’s VH1 Divas. In addition, Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, Terrence Howard, Nas, Common and La La Anthony are all expected to present at the ceremony, which is paying tribute to great cities of soul including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis and Philadelphia. Taking place inside New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, be sure to tune in when VH1 Divas airs Monday, December 19th at 9 PM/8c on VH1.

The headlining “divas” were announced earlier and includes Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Florence + The Machine, Jennifer Hudson, Jessie J. and Jill Scott. In a press release, Mystikal issued a statement about his recently deal with Cash Money Records. Similar to Busta Rhymes, the rapper is excited about the new partnership. He stated, “It has been a truly long time since I have felt like a rapper and with this signing, and partnership, Birdman and Slim have given me my life as a rapper back. I am ready to go. I am going to put my red Superman drawers, cape and boots on and go! This is a huge moment for me and I am truly excited to be with Cash Money Records.” Lead by his first single, “Original” featuring Lil Wayne, Mystikal’s next album is expected for a spring 2012 release.

FANTASIA WELCOMES BABY BOY!

According Vibe, Fantasia has reportedly delivery a healthy baby boy at a North Carolina hospital on Tuesday morning. The bundle of joy marks her first child together with her and partner Antwaun Cook, who was allegedly married when they first started dating. The singer has told People.com, “I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family,” she said. “I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support.” The bundle of joy weighed at 7 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches long. Dallas marks her first child together with her and partner Antwaun Cook, who was allegedly married when they first started dating.

MICHAEL JACKSON AUCTION

According to JuliensAuctions.com, personal items from the L-A home where Michael Jackson died in are being auctioned off. The items up for auction include messages from his children, a carved dining table and a Victorian grand piano and more. Other items include an ornate bedroom mirror, on which the late singer wrote: “Train perfection March, April full out May,” in the build up to his planned London comeback gigs, and a shower bench on which Jackson drew a series of stick figures. Contrary to rumors, the bed in which the singer died in will not be included in the sale.

JANELLE MONAE READIES TWO NEW ALBUMS

According to SingersRoom.com, Janelle Monae has big plans for the New Year. Fans can expect the singer to release two new albums which she revealed has “84.799 percent of the writing is done.” As for when the “Tightrope” entertainer will drop the projects, Monae stated, “I will release them according to my soul clock; so I reserve the right to change that. FLO RIDA IS BACK ON TRACK AFTER DUI

TMZ is reporting that Flo Rida got off lightly from prosecutors for his DUI case. The rapper was busted in Miami Beach back in June on suspicion of DUI, according to Police his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. Flo Rida’s attorney got the judge to send Flo to a first-time offenders program instead of jail. The program, called Back on Track, requires for Flo Rida to complete substance abuse classes, counseling, community service and drug testing. If Flo completes all of the requirements, prosecutors will know the DUI charge down to the lesser charge of reckless driving.

Wale will perform a free show in Washington D.C. on Saturday. The Maryland native is helping the Washington Wizards kick off their 2012 season with Fan Fest, on Saturday night. The event will feature face painters, balloon artists, magicians and much more. Free popcorn and soda will be provided to all courtesy of the Washington Wizards and the event will include autographed items for fans. The first five-thousand fans in attendance will receive a souvenir credential. Fan Fest takes place on Saturday night at 6 PM Eastern and is free and open to the public.

Wale attended Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

T.I. DENIED LEGAL COUNSEL IN PRISON

According to TMZ, T.I. just might have to serve the remainder of his sentence in prison – especially since he has not been allowed to contact his lawyer. The rapper’s lawyer told TMZ that The Federal Bureau of Prisons stated in letter that Tip is “not entitled to legal counsel.” Why? Well, apparently prison officials are still in the process of reviewing what led to him being re-incarcerated. As previously reported, the troubled emcee was released from prison and sent to halfway house only to be locked up again after he was caught conducting business with his manager while en route to the halfway house.

JAY-Z TO HOST CARNIVAL IN NYC

Jay-Z has announced that at the end of the month, he’ll host a lavish carnival-themed benefit for his Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. The New York Daily News reports that the event will help raise funds for people needing financial assistance to attain higher education. Taking place on September 29th, tickets can be purchased for a thousand dollars each via SCFCarnival.com.

During an interview with Paper magazine, Drake gave his honest opinions of JoJo’s remix to “Marvin’s Room.” Drizzy admired the singer for “taking the time to write really potent new lyrics.” He added, “It was really shocking, I think, for her audience since throughout her career she’s been kind of stereotyped as this teen pop star and then she comes out with this different kind of substance.” Drake went on to say, “It’s very rare that people take your song and do it over like that.”

ICE-T TALKS NEW VH1 DOCUMENTARY

On Monday night, we got the chance to speak to Ice-T before the premiere of the Vh1 documentary Planet Rock: The Story of Hip-Hop and the Crack Generation. The film, which includes interviews with Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill’s B-Real, and the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA and Raekwon, follows the crack epidemic and shows rappers who traded the crack game and for the rap game. Planet Rock: The Story of Hip Hop and the Crack Generation premieres on Vh1 on Sunday at 10 PM Eastern.

CHRISTINA’S SEAT ON THE VOICE IS SAFE

According to various reports, Christina Aguilera’s position as a vocal coach on The Voice is secure, dismissing earlier reports that she would be fired after the completion of next season’s singing competition. A rumor about Aguilera’s proposed firing erupted after X17 Online reported that producers were unhappy working with her and planned to replace her in third season of the show. An NBC executive cleared the air saying, “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor.” Aguilera, Adam Levine, Cee-Lo Green and Blake Shelton will all be back when The Voice returns on Sunday, February 5th, after the Super Bowl.

AMY WINEHOUSE WOULD HAVE BEEN 28 TODAY

Today would have been Amy Winehouse’s 28th birthday. The embattled singer passed away on July 23rd at her home in London, and while the official cause of death is yet to be announced, it’s been ruled out that it was the result of an illegal substance, and her father Mitch revealed that he believes she died from a seizure suffered while going through detox. T.I. BACK IN FEDERAL CUSTODY

After only a day in the semi-real world following months in prison, T.I. is already back in federal custody because of an issue involving his trip from the Arkansas prison to his Atlanta halfway house on a luxury bus on Wednesday, according to T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons confirms to TMZ that the rapper checked into a federal penitentiary in Atlanta last night, because he allegedly misled prison officials into thinking he’d take a low-key mode of transportation from the prison to the halfway house — and a tricked out tour bus isn’t low-key.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ — when a prisoner is incarcerated in a low or medium security prison … prison officials can allow the inmate to use a private, unescorted mode of transportation to travel from the prison facility to the halfway house.

During the process of approving such a transfer, the prisoner must state specifically what mode of transportation he or she will be using. Our sources tell us … T.I. informed prison officials he would be taking some sort of van, but made no mention of the high-end, pimped out tour bus.

We’re told prison officials felt T.I. should have fully disclosed the nature of his party bus. Neither drugs nor alcohol were found on the bus.

T.I.’s wife tells TMZ … multiple prison officials actually saw the tour bus that picked up the rapper yesterday — and even took photos with T.I. in front of it — and NOBODY raised an issue.

Tameka “Tiny” Cottle tells us … when the tour bus rolled up to the Arkansas prison yesterday, prison officials “Walked him over, took pics and told him good luck in life.”

Law enforcement sources also told TMZ when the U.S. Marshals arrived at the halfway house to take T.I. back to prison, the halfway house honcho actually got into an argument with them, saying it was ridiculous to send him back for such an alleged violation. But the Marshals had their orders, and took T.I. back to the pokey.

Sadow tells TMZ, “We are awaiting the opportunity to quickly resolve whatever the issue may be that the Federal Bureau of Prisons has with T.I.’s method of transportation, bus, from Arkansas to Atlanta, so that T.I. can return to the halfway house to complete the remaining days of his sentence.”

T.I. was sentenced in October to 11 months in prison for violating his probation, but was let out early. He was to complete the rest of his sentence in the halfway house.

WHAT’S THE FIRST THING T.I. DID POST-PRISON?

Wanna know what T.I. did after he was released from prison? Well, according to TMZ, the rapper was treated to a home cooked meal prepared by his mother and his Aunt Lita. Since Tip must remain in a halfway house until his sentence is complete, his family brought over a hot plate of food – which included steak, collard greens and mac ‘n cheese. His auntie told the site that he was grateful for the “amazing” meal and revealed that he’s currently “in good spirits.” We can only imagine what his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, brought over.

T.I. TO RELEASE FIRST BOOK SOON!

We previously reported that T.I. was looking to publish his first book, but we had no idea that the project would hit stores next month! According to the AP, the rapper’s upcoming novel, titled Power & Beauty, is a “fictional tale about two childhood friends torn apart by dangerous dealings on the streets of Atlanta.” The book will be available sometime in October via Harper Collins.

KANYE TO BE JAY-Z’S CHILD’S GODFATHER?

Like Nicki Minaj, Kanye West is hoping to become a godparent to Jay-Z and Beyonce’s baby. According to MTV’s Buzzworthy, there are whispers that Yeezy just might become the godfather to the power couple’s unborn child. Though it’s not confirmed, we speculate that ‘Ye is probably on a short list that includes Bey’s sister, Solange, the couple’s favorite couple, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, as well as her former Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland and Hova’s partner in crime, Memphis Bleek.

BEYONCE TURNS 30 THIS WEEKEND!

It’s a great time for Beyonce. Not only has the Houston native released her fourth number one album and announced that she’s expecting her first child with Jay-Z, but the former Destiny’s Child singer is also tuning 30 years old on Sunday. While it’s unknown where the notoriously private entertainer will celebrate this year, we wish her a happy birthday with many more to come.

LIL WAYNE FAN JUMPS ON STAGE

Some people just can’t control themselves. This seemed to be the case for an unidentified Lil Wayne fan that jumped on stage with the mogul at one of his I Am Still Music tour stops. At the very end of his set, an unnamed male concertgoer shared the stage with Weezy for a total of four seconds before being tackled by a security guard at the Denver Comfort Dental amphitheater. During an interview with Uptown magazine, Swizz Beatz touched on what life is like with his second wife, Alicia Keys. The hitmaker shared that the first thing he does in the morning is “open the curtains and I’m thankful for another day. If my wife is next to me, it’s an instant hug and kiss. RICK ROSS IS BEING SUED OVER DEADLY PITBULLS

According to TMZ, Rick Ross is facing a lawsuit for allegedly owning the pitbulls that killed his neighbor’s pet. According to the suit, three of the rapper’s dogs escaped from Rozay’s Atlanta mansion and attacked the neighbor’s three-year-old Yorkshire Terrier. As a result, Ross is being sued for 15-thousand dollars in damages and court costs. He is yet to apologize for the incident.

CALI SWAG ISSUES KICKBACK TRACKLIST

According to Amazon.com, the official tracklist for Cali Swag District’s debut album, The Kickback, has surfaced. The 15-song effort will be available in stores and online on July 12th.

Ever since photos of Rihanna and Drake going out to dinner together in downtown Montreal, Canada surfaced online, many assume that their old fling is back on. However, Drizzy told ExtraTV.com, “We were just in the same place. It was just like a one isolated time with a lot of photos from that one time.” There you have it.

RZA LANDS NEW FILM ROLE

According to Variety.com, The Rza has landed a new role in the upcoming film, G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes. The rapper will portray a martial arts expert named “Blind Master.” The emcee will star alongside Dwayne Johnson in the 3D sequel, which opens later this year.

The New York Post reports Sean “Diddy” Combs has just put his New Jersey mansion up for sale. The mogul’s residence, which includes over 12-thousand square-feet, is listed for 13.5-million dollars. Puff purchased the pad back in 2004 for six million and lived there with his then-girlfriend, Kim Porter, and their son, Christian.

· Diddy has decided to sell because he spends more time on the West Coast.

ALICIA KEYS BACKS NEW BROADWAY SHOW

We’ve just learned Alicia Keys has helped produce the upcoming Broadway production, Stick Fly. The singer said in a statement, “This is a story that everybody can relate to.” She added, “I’m passionate about this play because it is so beautifully written and portrays Black America in a way that we don’t often get to see in entertainment. I know it will touch all audiences, who will find a piece of themselves somewhere inside this house.” You can expect the show to open on Broadway on December 8th, with preview performances beginning on November 18th. I know I’ll meet him eventually.” No word on when the song will be released.

YOUNG JEEZY SUED FOR MISSED CONCERT APPEARANCE

According to TMZ, Young Jeezy is facing a lawsuit for failing to show up for a scheduled concert appearance in the Virgin Islands. The rapper’s rep called and canceled just one day before the gig due to an undisclosed conflict. The promoters, Paid 4 Entertainment, are suing for 75-thousand in damages and fraud charges.

· The company also went out of their way to book a private jet for Jeezy.

According to SingersRoom.com, while in February, El DeBarge suffered a relapse of substance abuse, he has since left rehab after and is reportedly back on track. According to his official fansite, T-Pain has released the visual to his new single, “Booty Work (One Cheek At a Time).” The Erik White-directed clip includes a cameo from comedian Kevin Hart as his rap alter ego, “Chocolate Droppa.” The song is off Pain’s upcoming album, rEVOLVEr, which will be released later this year.

BLACK EYED PEAS TO RELEASE VIDEOGAME

The Black Eyed Peas unveiled plans for a new videogame called The Black Eyed Peas Experience. According to AllHipHop.com, the group is working with Ubisoft to develop the game, which will feature tracks like “Boom, Boom, Pow” and “Let’s Get It Started.” The Black Eyed Peas Experience will be available for Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3 and is scheduled for release later this year.

JUSTIN BIEBER WORKING ON NEW ALBUM

Justin Bieber confirmed that he is currently in the planning and recording stages for his next album. Jackass Star Ryan Dunn Dies x MTV Music News


JACKASS’S RYAN DUNN DIES

In very sad news, Jackass star Ryan Dunn has died in a car crash in Pennsylvania. The 34-year-old, who appeared in all of the Jackass movies, reportedly died in a car crash at three AM Monday morning along with another unidentified person who was in the car.

The West Goshen Township Police Department says officers found Dunn’s 2007 Porsche 911 GT3  “off the road and in the woods.”

Both Dunn and his passenger “died as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.” Cops will release more information on the passenger once officials can positively identify the body.

Cops say “speed may have been a contributing factor to the accident.”

An investigation into the crash is ongoing. TMZ has more details and we’ll keep you updated.

LUPE BEGINS NEXT ALBUM

Lupe Fiasco has already begun recording his next studio album, titled Food & Liquor 2. The rapper explained that he will take all the lessons he’s learned from recording his latest effort, Lasers, and apply them to the new disc. We asked Lupe about the album and he gave us an update.

“Music on the ground, we are probably at like 30 percent, 30 to 40 percent, but idea-wise it’s probably about 80 to 90 percent there. Yeah, it’s good.”

Cee-Lo Green is one of the most recognizable singer’s around, and apparently that’s not as good a thing as you might imagine. According to The Hollywood Reporter, in a recent interview, the “Forget You” crooner is quoted as saying, “To have to talk and talk and talk — it takes a toll on you. There’s no way you can avoid people unless you can afford to fly private all the time, and I can’t…It’s a toll of being talented.” Cee-Lo’s role as a judge on The Voice has only made him even more popular.

BLACK EYED PEAS TALK CONCERT 4 NYC

The Black Eyed Peas have announced they are exploring options to reschedule their benefit concert that was canceled due to inclement weather last week. The show was set to benefit the Robin Hood Foundation, which fights poverty in New York City, and would have taken place on Central Park’s Great Lawn. Besides the Peas, a bunch of special guests were also set to perform, such as Taylor Swift and Natasha Bedingfield.

SKYLAR GREY DROPS DEBUT SINGLE

Skylar Grey’s debut single, “Invisible,” has been released to radio. The song features Grey singing over an Alex Da Kid-produced hip-hop beat. The 25-year-old told us the song is about feeling neglected and ignored and wanting to scream out for help. She hopes people connect with the song’s strong message. Skylar Grey will be performing at Lollapalooza this August in support of her upcoming album, Invisible, which is due out this fall.

Before Nicki Minaj revealed that she wanted to one day act alongside Will Smith, Busta Rhymes told SOHH.com that he can easily see her making the transition to film. WATCH THE THRONE RELEASE DATE?

According to TheSource.com, Jay-Z and Kanye West’s forthcoming joint album, Watch The Throne, will arrive next month. The 10-track disc, which includes contributions from Hov’s wife, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars, will apparently be released on July 4th.

GINUWINE GEARS UP FOR REALITY TV?

SingersRoom.com reports Ginuwine has decided to let cameras invade his private life for a new reality show called Ginuwine: A New Beginning! The upcoming series will follow the R&B crooner as he juggles his career, being a dad to four daughters and a husband to former rapper, Sole. B.O.B IS “EXCITED” ABOUT SOPHOMORE ALBUM 

B.o.B has announced that he’s begun the follow-up to his debut album, B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. He told MLive.com that he’s “really excited” because he feels like he’s in “[his] groove with this one.” He added, “I’m more aware of myself as an instrument, as a sound. It’s more intentful.” The Grand Hustle artist says there’s “a lot of the thought process [of working on an album] goes into actually performing it.” No release date has been revealed just yet.

MARY J BLIGE HAS BIGGEST R&B SONG…PERIOD 

For anyone who doubts if Mary J. Blige still has it, we’d like to fill you in on something that you probably didn’t know about her. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul’s smash hit, “Be Without You,” is the most successful song in the history of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The powerful ballad spent 15 weeks at number one and remained on the chart for 75 weeks! With that said, we’re certainly looking forward to MJB’s upcoming tenth studio album, My Life Too, The Journey Continues, which is slated for a September release.

• The tune is lifted from 2005’s The Breakthrough.

• She is also expected to star in the Nina Simone biopic and co-star in the Rock of Ages film with Tom Cruise.

ALICIA KEYS INSPIRED BY AALIYAH

As Alicia Keys gears up to release the collector’s edition of her debut album, songs in A minor, the singer is reflecting on some of her biggest hits. She told Rap-Up.com that “If I Ain’t Got You” actually “came together right after Aaliyah passed away. It was such a sad time and no one wanted to believe it. It just made everything crystal clear to me—what matters, and what doesn’t.” In addition, she recalled working with Kanye West for “You Don’t Know My Name.” Alicia described Yeezy as “this new and extremely eager guy who had so much to prove” and added that he was “just as much a ball of fire then as he is now.” Be sure to pick up the10th anniversary edition of songs in A minor on June 28th.

· To celebrate the 10th anniversary since its release, fans can watch her perform during the Piano & I: A One Night Only Event with Alicia Keys on June 30th at New York’s Beacon Theatre.

ADELE LOVES BEYONCE

In the newest issue of Glamour Magazine, Adele continues to let fans know how much she likes Beyonce. The “Rolling In The Deep” singer said of the diva’s music, “It makes my heart flicker. I’ve been a fan of hers since I was ten. Destiny’s Child was my life. I love her.” Be sure to look out for Bey’s much anticipated album, 4, which drops on June 28th!

HAVE YOU HEARD OF KREAYSHAWN?

Thanks to her catchy single, “Gucci Gucci,” Kreayshawn has landed a record deal with Columbia Records. If you haven’t heard of her, the 21-year-old rapper hails from East Oakland, California and she’s affiliated with Lil B and Odd Future. The fem-cee, who was rumored to have received an advance of a million dollars, said in a statement, “I’m excited to work with my new Columbia family. They understand my vision and are going to let me continue everything I’ve been doing. My hope is to inspire others to be young, wild and free.”

PITBULL, WYCLEF TEAMS WITH ZUMBA

AllHipHop.com reports Pitbull and Wyclef Jean are scheduled to perform during the 10th anniversary for the Zumba Instructor Convention. The entertainers will showcase their talents in front of six-thousand Zumba instructors at The Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Florida from July 7th to the 10th.
